In her two years there, she anchored the weekend morning newscasts and covered national breaking news events like the fatal fires in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg, the school bus crash that killed six students in Chattanooga, and the random shooting death of a teenage hero who died shielding his friends from the shots.
A Phoenix native, Brittany graduated as the "Outstanding Undergraduate Student" from the esteemed Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State in 2015 and went straight to her first job in a top 60 market.
